# channelchip_f268 — reference-chip bundle

**ADAPTATION — NOT A REPLICA** of a microfluidic ChipShop straight-channel chip,
re-built as a monolithic resin-SLA part (Phrozen Sonic Mighty 12K, 19 × 24 µm non-square): a single
solid block with one straight rectangular channel running port-to-port at
mid-height and two vertical access bores to the top. The vendor part is a COC
body + foil lid — this is a different physical construction.

## Provenance / honesty
- **Vendor-attributed (product page):** channel cross-section ONLY — **H × W =
  150 × 2500 µm**.
- **OUR design (not the vendor's):** channel_len = 20 mm (port-to-port
  run) and the footprint (24.5 × 5.5 × 1.95 mm).
The vendor TDS is robots-blocked and was not read.
- **Ports = simplified straight bores;** standing in for the vendor's MFCS Mini Luer sockets.

## Verification (trimesh, merged vertices)
| metric | value |
|---|---|
| channel volume (analytic, nominal port-to-port) | 7.5000 µL |
| channel volume (the model's mesh, incl. 0.4 mm overrun) | 7.6500 µL |
| Δ (mesh − analytic) | +2.00 % (uniform 0.4 mm boolean overrun; cross-section exact) |
| void watertight | True |
| void connected bodies | 1 (bore→channel→bore continuous) |
| chip watertight | True |
| chip Euler number | 0 (genus-1: one cavity, two vents) |
| px_min @ 19 µm/px (Phrozen 12K, X) | 7.89 px |
| px_min @ 24 µm/px (Phrozen 12K, Y) | 6.25 px |
| px_min @ 7.6 µm/px (BYU Nordin) | 19.74 px |
| printability verdict | **marginal** |

## Print note (process, not geometry)
Tilt the block **~30–45° about its short axis**, one port at the low point
(gravity drain) and one high (air vent). Because the fluidics are flow-through
(bore→channel→bore, no dead end), **syringe-flush IPA port-to-port BEFORE UV
post-cure** — resin left in the enclosed channel cures solid and ruins it.

## STATUS
**DESIGN-VERIFIED** — geometry is watertight and volumetrically checked in CAD.
**A Phrozen Sonic Mighty 12K design.**
